"Sound System" is one of the two auditioned performing
groups from Center Grove High School, in Greenwood, Indiana. They have been competing since their formation
in the early 70's, by Judy Meeks. Directed by Christopher D. Pratt and
choreographed by Andy Haines,
Sound System is a 40 voice choir made up of students in grades 9 -12.
They perform extensively throughout the Indianapolis area, providing quality
entertainment for various community organizations. Sound System also
participates in many show choir competitions throughout the Midwest,
frequently receiving caption awards and Grand Champion trophies. They have
been Grand Champion at two different Showstoppers National Competitions.
