Hi I'm in a showchoir in Calgary, Canada. The website is www.youthsingers.org. It is an amazing organization and has currently about 350 people from the age of 3-Post-Secondary. It is I believe the only Show Choir in Canada. (Cale Thompson)

Notre Dame Regional High School in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada has had a Show Choir for the last 15years.They are called “Broadway Bound”, They have won gold medals in competitions in New York, Las Vegas, Anaheim, San Francisco and Seattle. They are also the only Canadian Show Choir to be asked to compete at the US National Show Choir Competition in Nashville, Tennessee. ND is a small school of 575 students from Gr. 8-12 and they have 2 full-sized show choirs (20 boys and 20 girls), a junior and a senior choir. They would love to compete at a show choir competition in Canada… any coming up?

The Mount Pearl Show Choir is a group of forty-two especially talented students from grades 8-12 who audition each year from within the general choir of approximately 200 students, and who perform with a live band. Without the dedication of all of the past and present members, none of the Show Choir's achievements would have been possible. Be it Saturday night or school holiday, the group practices whenever needed, along with a strict regimen of scheduled practices every Friday afternoon from 3:30-6:00 and every Sunday morning from 6:30-9:00 am. "Northern Lights" is a second-year show choir from Don Mills Collegiate, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  To their knowledge, they are the only high-school show choir in Ontario.  They have performed at the "Baystate Showchoir Festival" in North Easton, MA , for 2 years in a row, and won a silver medal last year at the "Nutmeg Showchoir Competition" in Windsor Locks, CT.  They are hoping to spread the showchoir word to other high schools in Ontario.
