Sentinel Sounds
Director:  Bob Thompson

The Fort Hill " Sentinel Sounds" is a 12 member group dedicated to the excellence of show choir. Focusing on vocal performance, the group's 2001 repertoire is called "Celebrate America" and showcases the groups ability to maintain high vocal standards, while focusing on the art of tap. Starting with Neil Diamond's "America", the group takes the audience through the American Dream, covering patriotic numbers, as well as contemporary, all the while maintaining the energy required to keep the audience's toes tapping along. With Tap choreography by Staci Thompson, and military choreography by director Bob Thompson, the 2001 show has been proven to be a crowd pleaser. The group will travel to Branson, representing the great state of Maryland in April, and hopes to meet other competitive groups that they can become exchange choirs with.
Dedicated to vocal performance, the "Sentinel Sounds" consistantly impress their audiences with their vocal power and strength.  They would like to become more involved with competitions. Any festival information would be welcome.
