The "Debtones", from Center Grove High School in Greenwood,Indiana,was

formed in 1969 by former Director, Judy Meeks. Under the direction of

Misha Thomas, this all girl group now consists of 40 singer/dancers, a

7 member band, and a crew of 8.

  We went to a lot of competitions this year; Mt. Zion,

Millikin University, Anderson Highland, Moorseville, We hosted the

Best of the Midwest, and the Carroll Invitational. We got grand champion 3

times, at the Mt.Zion contest, the Millikin contest, and the

Carroll Invitational. We got third at Mooresville, and 2nd runner-up at

Anderson. We won various other awards, such as best choreography and best

vocals, we got best tech crew award at the Mt. Zion contest.

This years group was really good, we got along really well and got to be

good friends. In a couple of weeks, we are going to Chicago to sing

in cathedrals and to sight see. This year our show was, River Deep, Mountain

High, by Celine Dion, The Big Beat, by the Anders Sisters, Love Look Away,

and Climb That Mountain High.
